Belfast’s scenic Botanic Gardens will mark the turning of the seasons with the return of the Autumn Exhibition on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 September.
Organized by Belfast City Council, the annual family event takes place from 12.30pm to 6pm every day, and young and old will enjoy plenty of fun-filled activities, live music, food and much more.
Highlights include the Fall Flower Show, showcasing award-winning stunning fall blooms and floral art displays as well as a display of giant seasonal vegetables.
A variety of stalls will be selling food, crafts, artistic delights and local produce.
Join the Sustainable Living Shop to learn more about sustainable fashion and lifestyle choices.
There will be plenty of free family-friendly activities to enjoy over the two days, including bouncy castles, balloon modeling, face painting, fall-themed arts and crafts, sports games, a bubble bike, rambling and pumpkin carving.
There will also be an entertainment area including teacup rides, a safari train and a bungee trampoline.
Autumn flower exhibition
The Belfast City Autumn Fair is organized by the Council in association with:

- Irish Fuchsia and Pelargonium Society
- Bonsai Society of Northern Ireland
- Northern Ireland Flower Arranging Associations Group
- Belfast and District Beekeepers Association
- Northern Ireland Dahlia Society
- Rose Society of Northern Ireland
There is a Fall Fair class schedule that includes Garden Class, School Class, Community Garden Class, Vegetable Class, and Fruit Class.
Among the colorful displays featured will be bonsai trees, dahlias, gladioli, begonias and floribundas, as well as floral art.
Anyone wishing to enter the exhibits at the Fall Flower Show must fill out a form and register as an exhibitor at the show.
