Spring is coming, and Delhi is ready to welcome the blooming season with the Tulip Festival. The second edition of this festival promises a 12-day extravaganza, giving the people of Delhi the opportunity to enjoy these beautiful flowers in their full splendor.

The lawns of the famous Chantilly Trail will be covered in bright colours, showcasing a wide array of rare and captivating tulips. Here’s everything you need to know about this festival and how to make the most of your visit.

Delhi Tulip Festival: Timings, dates and important details

The 12-day Delhi Tulip Festival, organized by the New Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC), began on February 10 and will conclude on February 21, 2024. With over 200,000 tulip bulbs in bloom, visitors can admire 80,000 tulips. Shanti track lining. The festival features a variety of activities, including tulip tours, photography and drawing competitions, a food festival, and musical performances. The food festival will feature unique dishes inspired by tulips, tantalizing visitors’ palates with a variety of flavours.

Expect to see tulips in a myriad of vibrant colors, including white, yellow, red, black, purple, pink, orange, yellow and red. Most of these tulips are sourced from the Netherlands, bringing a touch of the world-famous Amsterdam Tulip Festival to the capital.

NDMC has scheduled four tulip walks during the festival on February 10, 11, 17 and 18, 2024. Attendance is free, and no tickets are required for these tours, which will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. In addition, a music event is scheduled for 17 February 2024 at Nehru Park, featuring performances by Dutch and Indian artists.
