At IBC, Grass Valley will be showcasing its support for traditional hardware-based facilities, featuring the updated 4-line Kayenne production switcher control surface driving a full raster 4K 2160P K-Frame XP video processing engine. The industry-standard K-Frame XP is capable of handling various IP formats, SDI video sources, or a combination of both.
The versatility extends to Grass Valley’s cloud-based AMPP platform, designed to complement on-premises hardware. AMPP provides a unified, easily scalable workflow that is accessible to any sports production staff member from any connected device or location.
For live sports productions, Grass Valley offers comprehensive solutions tailored to diverse production workflows and budgets. The debut of the new LDX-C150 broadcast camera is a major milestone, condensing the functionality of the original LDX-150 full-sized IP/UHD camera into a compact form factor. The C150 delivers superior NativeIP and UHD HDR imaging, with 3X UHD and 6X 1080P/60 HDR speed modes, along with support for ST2110 and JPEG-XS compression directly from the camera head. It also supports connection to the camera mount for backward compatibility and is suitable for applications such as SKYCAM, Steadicam, beauty shots, Ultra slomo and unmanned settings.
Another feature is Grass Valley’s LiveTouch When combined with AMPP, it provides the reliability and flexibility of pay-as-you-go SaaS, allowing replay operators to work from anywhere in the connected world.
The Grass Valley product portfolio includes the upgraded Framelight Part of the cloud-based AMPP ecosystem, Framelight X enables customers to produce and distribute content from anywhere, making it suitable for remote sports production and collaboration.
