How flowers made people so happy at ITFF 2023

Before the start of the official IFTF 2023 event held from 7 to 9 November, the excitement of building and creating amazing booths with the main protagonists – the flowers – could already be felt. That’s what it was all about. Year after year, the majestic spectacle of flowers sweeps the halls of this wonderful event that brings together the flower industry and this year was no different.

Flowers dominated the 2023 ITFF once again

With growers, breeders, wholesalers, florists and visitors from all over the world looking forward to this wonderful event, ITFF concluded its business in a very successful manner as it does every year. It is an event dedicated to honoring the flower industry in all its glory. From the hard work and effort of hundreds of growers and breeders to the flower and plant advocates who want to have fun and smile during their visit, this is what IFTF is all about. Connecting the industry in every way possible so that everyone attending the event is truly happy. This year, there was an excess of happiness and this was often observed during the three days of the prosperous event. But why was there so much joy and happiness spread everywhere? The answer is simple: flowers and plants make people happy and are a real necessity for living a happier daily life.

Amidst all the chatter during the IFTF, the most common words that flew through the air were: beautiful, extraordinary, wonderful, incredible, and special, among many others. What were these words referring to? For the beauty of all the flowers on display during the event, of course. Every visitor was in awe and completely shocked to see such out of this world flowers.

Everyone, of course, wanted to take all these flowers home while giving them a magical power to last forever. There was not a single moment when the interactions between flower business owners, employees, florists and visitors in general were not positive and there was a smile in between. Smiles, smiles, smiles, it was all about the power of flowers and plants.

The most stunning flower paths

Roses grown exclusively in Ecuador, Colombia and Kenya along with several Dutch companies were part of the IFTF 2023. As part of the floral magic on display this year, Ecuadorian companies such as Mystic Flowers and Rosaprima launched a wide selection of high-quality flowers grown in the Andean region in Their country. One stand that was filled with cheerful flower advocates was the one at Alexandra Farms.

Undoubtedly he had one of the most impressive floral displays with the magic of the rose arrangements in their garden including David Austin roses. The flower wall and decor designed for their suite was created by popular flower blogger and floral designer Alina Neacsa. She was thrilled and happy that she created a heart-shaped flower symbol that represents her endless passion and love for this industry and what it does. For her and everyone who was there, flowers are a symbol of never-ending love and happiness.

Rose Born Free conveys Banksy's message

On a final note, the charmingly decorated booths from United Selections, Sian Flowers and De Ruiter were also beautifully decorated with a variety of flowers in all shapes, forms and colors for everyone to fully enjoy. Through the main entrance, De Ruiter had the brilliant idea of ​​creating a message from Banksy stating “Love is in the air”, featuring their gorgeous Born Free roses.
