43, of Westmont, died Sept. 4, 2023. Born Jan. 21, 1980, in Arlington Heights, Illinois, husband of Sarah and son of Diane Lohse. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary Wesley, Donald Welch, Patrick and Jean Downing, and Arthur and Louis Pepper. Survived by loving wife Sarah (Pepper) Lohse, mother Diane Lohse, children Leah, Ty, Brooklyn, Christopher, Gavin, Landon, Micah, Adeline “Pa”, sister Maria Montana (Johnny), father and mother-in-law Arthur and Melody Pepper, mother-in-law Patty Pepper, her brother-in-law, Dave Krueger, Shawn Krueger, Brian Pepper (Carrie), and Greg Buhrow, nephews Dominic, Gianni, Noah, Jonah, Elijah, Micah, Isiah, and Uriah. Mark was well known and respected in the tree industry and was a dedicated employee of Kendall Expert Tree Services. He loved anything to do with the outdoors, quad biking, boating, fishing, and spending time with his family in West Virginia. He enjoyed building fires and working on his house, and loved cooking and barbecuing. He was a loving and devoted son, husband, father and friend who will be sadly missed. Mark was a proud and loyal member of Oxford Masonic Lodge 353, Johnstown Masonic Lodge 538, Royal Order of Jesters of Cumberland Court 117, and the Lulu Shriners. Friends and family will be received from 2-5 PM on Friday, September 15, 2023 at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Johnstown PA 15905. Masonic Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 PM at the funeral home. The family will provide flowers and suggest memorial donations be made to establish an education fund for Adeline Lohse.
