The 5th Annual Tulipalooza Show brings thousands of Dutch tulips to North Texas while benefiting local charities
The annual Tulip Festival takes place from March 15 to March 24 in Waxahachie, Texas
Waxahachie, Texas (February 6, 2024) -Tulipalooza, the annual tulip festival held in Waxahachie, Texas, is back and better than ever for its fifth annual celebration. Open daily from 10am to 7pm and taking place March 15-24, Tulipalooza 2024 invites guests to a mesmerizing display of color and signature flowers with direct support of nearly a dozen local charities.
Now, each year, in an extraordinary display of botanical beauty, Tulipalooza imports hundreds of thousands of tulip bulbs from Holland, which are then planted at Getzendaner Garden – 400 South Grand Avenue in Waxahachie, Texas. Tulips are ready to bloom in a stunning array of colours, just in time for spring. “We are proud to collaborate with local tulip expert, Bill van Houten, who is actually from the Netherlands, to enrich the event with authentic experience and a touch of Dutch floral heritage,” said Kari Zerbe, organizer of the Tulipalooza Festival. .
In addition, guests who attend have the opportunity to be active participants in the local community, e.g 50% Proceeds from tickets purchased online will be donated directly to 11 local charities. General admission to Tulipalooza is free for children under 5, $5 for children ages 5-12, $15 for adults, $15 for seniors. Graduation Day is Tuesday, March 19 for $12.
