The topic of feline affection in the latest viral clip may seem a bit unusual because cat toys often resemble small prey.

In an article for VCA, one of the largest animal hospital chains in North America, the veterinarians said: “Cats are natural hunters, so their toys would be more interesting if they were of the size and texture of the prey, and if they could be moved in such an environment.” In a way that represents small prey (mice, insects, lizards, birds), or if it contains delicious food or sweets.”

In another VCA article, Horowitz and Landsberg said cats like to be able to pick up their toys, so smaller objects are usually more attractive than larger objects.

However, a cat expressing affection towards its owner by offering flowers on a regular basis may not be so surprising.

A study published in September 2019 in Current biology It found evidence that “cats display distinct attachment patterns toward human caregivers.”

“Research suggests we may be underestimating cats’ social and cognitive abilities,” she said.

According to the study, “Cats, like dogs, can be found living in social groups or singly, depending on early developmental factors, resource distribution, and life experiences such as human interaction.”

Many TikTok users were delighted with the cat in his latest viral video.

User Your Sweetie said she was “the most romantic cat you’ve ever seen.”

Jenny Hernandez said the cat must have been thinking, “Maybe my mom will like this.”

Carlin noted: “I couldn’t find a man to bring me flowers…. Now I see I should have been looking for a cat!”

Summerdandelion1798 said: “Such a smart cat, usually cat gifts include dead animals/insects, but somehow he found out that you like flowers.”

DreamzTraveler wrote that the cat must have been “a flower seller in a previous life.”
