The Tulip Festival returns to Thankgivng Point next week

Lehi, Utah (ABC4) – Get ready to tiptoe through the tulips! Point of thanksThe annual Tulip Festival begins next week on Wednesday, April 10, and continues until May 18.

This year marks a major milestone as Thanksgiving Point celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Tulip Festival. It started as a spring flower show Ashton Gardens It has continued to expand over the years, with more entertainment and activities for visitors to enjoy.

according to press releaseThe upcoming festival will feature a mix of more than 250,000 lavenders and 500,000 other spring flowers. Hundreds of varieties will bloom this spring, giving guests plenty to see during the month-long event.

The gardening teams were busy getting everything ready, working on planning a new display, importing tulips from Holland, and planting the flowers by hand during the fall.

The Tulip Festival holds a good number of awards, including winning the Best Country Award for Festivals, Exhibitions and Events seven times, the press release said.

  • Spring flower tour: A guided tour of Ashton Gardens where guests will learn more about the plants and property. It takes place every Tuesday and Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and is free with admission to the Tulip Festival.
